Dry Chemical Fire Suppression System

For all types of Industrial Fire Protection (Processes involving flammable liquids, electrical/mechanical rooms, flammable liquid storage areas, specialty hazards).

How the system works:

  1. Fire Detectors sense fire heat in work area, plenum or duct... A signal is sent to the Control Panel

  2. Control Panel electrically activates Cylinder Control Head, which open cylinder valve.

  3. Dry Chemical is propelled by stored pressure through Discharge Pipes and Nozzles into the protected area.

  4. Fire is suppressed as Control Panel sounds alarm, notifies fire authorities and shuts down airflow in hazard area.

Fire Suppression System for Automotive Refueling

Pre-Engineered for the gas station fire hazard.

How the system works:

  1. A SPILL FIRE BEGINS - Spill fires can be caused by careless handling of the hose and nozzle, combined with mechanical or electric sparks, smoking or any open flame. Even driving away from the pumps with nozzle still in the tank can cause a spill and provide the spark for the ignition.

  2. FIRE DETECTORS SENSE THE FIRE - Strategically placed heat sensors pick up the heat of the spill fire and promptly send a signal to the fire system for immediate actuation.

  3. THE SYSTEM ACTUATES - Dry Chemical fire suppression agent is stored in steel containers connected by pipe to nozzles aimed at the hazard area. Immediately upon actuation, the chemical envelops the area of the spill fire, allowing vehicle occupants TIME to exit their vehicles and leave the vicinity of the fire.

  4. MANUAL BACKUP - As a backup of the automatic detection, manual actuation stations are located where station attendants can actuate the system at the first sign of the spill fire

Industrial CO2 Fire Suppressions System

For all types of Flammable liquid storage areas, Printing presses, flow solder M/C’s, Quench tanks/ exhaust fume ducts, Paint spray booths, EDP/computer floor voids, Electrical switchgear & substations, Fryers/ovens.

Benefits:

  1. Automatic operation without reliance on any outside source of energy.

  2. All operating parts are completely enclosed.

  3. No falling weights.

  4. No sealing disks to replace after operation.

  5. All vital operating parts can be easily tested without dismantling.

  6. Contents checking can be done without dismantling.

  7. Does not require a padding pressure for flow through pipework.
